Pelangi Publishing Group, a 40-year-old Malaysian educational publisher, sought to solidify its leadership in Southeast Asia by transitioning to digital in 2021. The company aimed to cultivate lasting customer relationships, a strong brand experience and growing revenue through a fluid, practical and effective marketing strategy.
Partnering with AAR & Company, Pelangi embarked on a 5-year digital marketing transformation. We conducted a 2-month series of marketing workshops on how best to achieve the objective set. The discussion focused on understanding the market better, tweaking the business model to a certain level, enhancing processes, reorganising the roles and responsibilities, establishing the purchasing journeys, consolidating the marketing approaches, automation, improving customer experience and elevating the conversion effectiveness.
By maintaining certain existing technologies and infrastructure and introducing several new ones, today, Pelangi Publishing Group are seeing not just a clearer purpose but also a path to better revenue, profit and market share.
